"Hi, I am Eric. I provide tutoring in Mandarin Chinese at all levels. I did both my master's and PhD at Rice University with a strong background in philosophy of language and Chinese philosophy/culture. I had eight years of teaching experience.

I am passionate about helping children and adults learn and master Mandarin Chinese. Seeing them speak fluently is always a very satisfying experience to me, and helping them achieve fluency is my ultimate goal of tutoring.

My approach to tutoring Chinese is systematic and two-pronged. It blends the intuitive approach that every child uses in picking up a language and the intellectual method which an adult often finds helpful.
