"I was an engineering student and ended up graduating with a B.S. in physics. I obtained my teaching certification on the graduate level at the College of St. Thomas. As I taught electronic communications at Coahoma Community College, I continued my education by taking graduate work in education, math, physics, engineering, and programming. I also taught computer service at Memphis Job Corps for 2 years. Then taught high school algebra, geometry, science, and chemistry at Memphis City Schools. Besides that, I worked as a technician and field engineer.

Many years ago, I tutored for A to Z in home tutoring & A to Z Tutoring working often with students at risk. I then started tutoring as a private tutor. Many of my parents have given me written recommendations. I have concentrated on teaching students in high school but have done some elementary and college level. Subjects have ranged from math, algebra, geometry, pre-cal, calculus, & chemistry.

I contact their teachers to better prepare my tutoring to the needs of my students. I often give them handouts that I made and videos on the internet to help my student understand the subject. I have even made flash cards for some of my students." less...
