"I have been tutoring for 17 years, since I was a senior in high school. In my previous career, I was a full-time math teacher for 4 years; I taught both middle school and high school math. After school hours I would tutor any of my students, as well as any students from other classes because they enjoy learning with me.

The best thing about tutoring compared to teaching a whole class is I get to know who I'm teaching much better and can really teach in the best possible way to help them understand the topics they are struggling with. It's also enjoyable for me to get to know who I'm tutoring in general.

I hold myself to a very high standard and do everything I possibly can to help those I tutor. I also hold high, but realistic expectations of who I teach/tutor.
