"Hi there! I’m a certified elementary teacher with nine years of classroom experience, and I love helping students build both skills and confidence. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri and a master’s degree in Learning, Teaching, and Curriculum from the University of Central Missouri. I’m certified to teach grades 1–6 and have taught 5th grade full-time since 2017. Over the years, I’ve worked closely with students in grades 1 through 5, supporting a wide range of learners in both math and language arts.

I specialize in helping students strengthen foundational math skills like number sense, fact fluency, and problem-solving, as well as reading areas such as fluency, phonics, comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar. I also support writing skills including sentence structure, editing, and overall writing conventions. My teaching style is warm, structured, and tailored to each child’s learning style. Whether your child needs extra support, enrichment, or just a boost of confidence, I provide patient, engaging instruction that meets them where they are.

I’m happy to offer a brief free consultation to discuss your child’s needs and how I can best support them. I kindly ask for at least 1 hour’s notice for cancellations so I can adjust my schedule and remain available to other families.
