"I am a graduate student in Nuclear Engineering at the Tokyo Institute of Technology and I am excited to work with you. My strong background in scientific writing will help my students understand key concepts and apply their knowledge to real-world problems. By strengthening their foundations in science, my students will learn how to write enticing applications, how to organize multifaceted projects, and how to communicate effectively in a professional setting.

For both undergraduate and graduate studies, my GPA is 3.9. I have 2 years of teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant (TA) for undergraduate courses. First, I was the TA the General Chemistry course of the University of Jamestown, in which I ran lectures, supervised lab classes, helped students with homework, and designed new experiments to compliment the lecture material. Second, I was the TA for the Biotransport Phenomenon class at the University of California, Irvine, in which I ran lectures and helped students with the practice problems. I enjoy teaching and often volunteer to run facility tours for the UC Irvine Nuclear Reactor Facility, for which I am a licensed reactor operator.

Outside of the classroom, I have been involved in research throughout my college career. I have published three academic papers and three posters from 2019 to 2024. I have applied for and received various fellowships, including the Nuclear Chemistry fellowship at the Brookhaven National Lab in New York (2018), two undergraduate research grants at UC Irvine (2019 to 2020), the Nuclear Education and Research fellowship at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (2021), the Fulbright student fellowship to conduct independent research in Japan (2021 to 2022), the interdisciplinary seed funding grant at UC Irvine (2023), and the scholarship for the master's program at the Tokyo Institute of Technology granted by the Japanese Ministry of Education (2024).
