I am a medical student and tutor with over 10 years of experience working with students at the K-12 and university levels. I specialize in the biological sciences and math, with mastery of reading comprehension and language standardized testing. I have worked with both private and public school students, including students at Bellaire High School, Strake Jesuit, Debakey, and Kinkaid.

I have a bachelors degree in Clinical Nutrition, my masters in Biomedical Science, and I am currently three years into my Medical Degree (MD). As you can see, science in my life!

My favorite part of tutoring is the "oooh" look on students' faces when they finally grasp a concept they struggled with. I love making difficult material easier through explanation and practice. I take pride in making learning enjoyable rather than boring or tedious. My teaching style is relaxed, fun, and encouraging. Breaking down information is my strength, and putting information into a language students can understand comes naturally to me. I can go through as many examples as you need until you get it. It means nothing to do well in our sessions, but not on your exams. I will teach you methodical ways to approach math and science questions so you are confident during your tests. Together, you and I can improve your grades and help you master the subjects you struggle with. As long as you promise to not give up, I promise to do my best to get you the grades you want!
