"I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Chemistry and a minor in Neuroscience. I also scored in the 99th percentile on the MCAT Chemical and Physical Foundations section.

I also have experience tutoring high school and college students in general chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, and precalculus. Throughout college, I also worked in hospital and academic environments that required strong communication and patience. These experiences shaped the teaching style I use today, including emphasizing a supportive, structured, and focused tutoring style.

My approach begins with getting to know each student’s current level, strengths, and challenges. From there, I create a personalized study plan that targets the areas where they’ll see the biggest improvements. During sessions, I use active learning strategies such as guided problem solving, spaced repetition, visual diagrams, and step-by-step breakdowns of difficult topics. My goal is to help students build long-term mastery and confidence, not just memorize formulas for the next test.

I’ve worked with learners who were struggling to pass introductory classes, as well as students pushing for top grades in advanced courses or preparing for competitive exams. No matter the starting point, I’m committed to meeting students where they are and helping them grow academically and personally.
