"Hi I’m Griffin. I’ve tutored middle and high school students in math and I taught an ACT prep class and tutored for the Boys and Girls Club as a volunteer. What I work to do is observe how you or your child learns, and cater my approach to that in a challenging but entertaining way. My goal is to get you or your child to actually understand the material, rather than just be able to pass the next test.

ACT MATH

I earned a super score 36 on my ACT, including a 36 in math twice. The Math section, more than any other, is a time crunch. It’s important to know not only how to do the required math, but how to correctly pace yourself. I’ll help with both. I’ve read prep books, gone to ACT prep classes and had tutors of my own, and I’m more than happy to pass along all the information I’ve learned to you or your child. Whether you just need a few tips to get a couple more points, or you’re striving for the perfect 36, I’m your guy.

General Math (pre-algebra through calculus)

However, back during my sophomore year in high school, the Science section was actually my lowest score. In order to earn that 36, I worked tirelessly to learn all the tips and tricks for the Science section. I’ve read prep books, gone to ACT prep classes and had tutors of my own, and I’m more than happy to pass along all the information I’ve learned to you or your child.
