"Hi! I am Vivian. I graduated summa cum laude with an Associate's degree in Business. I am currently attending school for my Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems and Technology. My favorite subjects have always been Math and English; I have experience with creative writing, essays, algebra, and calculus I and II. I have gotten As in all my classes relating to these subjects. I understand that classes like these can be challenging for many, as I myself have been in the position of a student who can't seem to fully grasp a concept. I am living proof that tutoring works, as I have been assisted in many of these subjects before, and now feel comfortable enough to teach them to others.

I have tutored for friends and family before, which is how I came to the realization of how deeply I enjoy it. The thing I love the most about tutoring is seeing the relief when a difficult topic finally clicks in the person's mind. That facial expression is my goal for every student I help. I usually like to take a look at the students' homework or look up the topics we will be discussing before the session in order to make sure I have the right notes and refresh my knowledge. I create lesson plans when needed, but most of the time, I have found that hands-on exercises are more engaging and enjoyable.
