"Hello! I'm a graduate for the University of Illinois, earning a degree in Engineering Physics with a 4.0 GPA. During my time in undergrad, I earned 300+ hours tutoring introductory physics and calculus at the college level, even creating my own practice material for my peers to use in their studies. During this time, I earned valuable experience tutoring fellow undergraduates in various settings - one-on-one and in classroom settings, in-person and online. I have been rated highly by former students for both my teaching ability and my general approachability and friendliness.
I offer general math/physics tutoring at the high school and introductory college levels, including (but not limited to) AP Physics I/II/C, Algebra I/II, Pre-calculus, and Calculus I/II/III. My idea of teaching is not having students memorize various formulas/equations by rote - this just leads to burnout and frustration with a subject. Rather, my goal is to help students succeed by prioritizing their own problem skills so that they can build confidence and tackle problems on their own.
