"I am a licensed educator with ten years of experience as an elementary classroom teacher. One thing I enjoy most about teaching is helping students gain confidence in their own ability to learn. Along with full-time teaching, I have also tutored one-on-one in a variety of subject areas including reading, math, and grammar. I earned my bachelors degree in elementary education from High Point University, and I completed my masters of education in literacy from N.C. State University. I have taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and most recently 5th grade, so I have experience in a variety of subject areas.
