"Hi, I'm Agastya and I am currently a freshman at the University of Central Florida pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I got my high school diploma when I graduated from Wellington High School in May 2025.
I have 4 certifications and I will state them here. I have earned four IT certifications through Certiport that have strengthened both my technical expertise and my ability to help others learn these topics. I started with IT Fundamentals (MTA: Mobility and Device Configuration Management), which gave me a strong foundation in managing devices and mobility solutions. From there, I earned the Computer and Network Security Fundamentals (ITS: Network Security) certification, where I developed an understanding of core security practices. Next, I completed Cybersecurity Essentials (ITS: Cybersecurity), which deepened my knowledge of protecting data and identifying threats. Lastly, I earned the Artificial Intelligence (ITS: Artificial Intelligence) certification, where I explored how AI concepts are applied in modern technology.
I have a year of teaching experience and I will state it below. From May 2023 to June 2023, I worked as a Chess, Math, and Geography Tutor in a summer youth mentorship program, where I mentored students aged 8–15, providing me with valuable volunteering experience. Following this, from August to October 2023, I served as a private tutor, helping a high school student improve their math and biology grades from D’s to A’s. Between March and May 2024, I provided personalized one-on-one instruction in chess and math to multiple students through neighborhood tutoring. Most recently, from December 2024 to June 2025, I worked as a private tutor and coach, where I tutored students in math and biology while also coaching tennis." less...
