"I am certified full time high school teacher with over 20 years of experience. I have also been a tutor for over 30 years. I have a BA in Spanish & Linguistics as well as a Masters in Romance Linguistics (both from UCLA). I also have my secondary teaching credential in Spanish. However, most of my tutoring has been in math! I love to help students in algebra or geometry in addition to Spanish and French. I also enjoy helping students prepare for finals or even homework. My tutoring students tend to be in high school, but I tutor some students who are in junior high. While I am a high school teacher, I do enjoy working with junior high students as well.

I think one of the aspects I love most about tutoring is seeing that look on a student's face when they finally understand a concept that they have been struggling with. I it very empowering to know that you are able to go back to class and do well on a test or quiz, or to feel confident that you are now able to participate in class.
