"Welcome to Wyzant and its services! Its goal is to match students of all ages with appropriate tutors. I am honored to be one of those tutors.

When studying or editing, we can meet in your home or in a public area, such as a library or coffeehouse. Be assured that I have received both of my Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinations and that I am willing to wear a facial mask as a further precaution. Meeting online using Wyzant's interface is also an option.

I am available most days and hours on a short-term or long-term basis. Home-school, public-school, or private-school students as well as adults may find my services useful.

My hourly tutoring fee does not include the time to prepare or the time to report fully on each tutoring session, for which you are not charged. Short communications outside of the tutoring session are also free.

In addition to years of classroom experience at all levels and of tutoring students in-person and online, I have edited newspapers, press releases, websites, and books. Before editing, I worked years as a computer programmer. I also have facilitated Great Books discussions for decades and currently participate in several other discussion groups as well. I exercise daily and love to eat and cook. I also love books and reading, both fiction and nonfiction.
