"I’m currently a graduate student and I previously earned my Associate of Science degree in Biology, where I completed extensive coursework in math, chemistry, and life sciences. I also have strong academic experience in writing, psychology, and political science from my undergraduate work at the University of California, Davis.

I have informal tutoring experience helping classmates and peers in high school and college, especially in Algebra, Biology, and essay writing. In high school, I worked as a math tutor, and during college I often helped other students review biology concepts, interpret assignments, and break down complex topics into simple steps. These experiences helped me develop a patient, supportive, and clear teaching style.

My approach to tutoring focuses on meeting students where they are, explaining concepts in plain language, and working through examples step-by-step. I aim to help students feel confident, understand the “why” behind each topic, and build skills they can carry into future classes.

I’m comfortable working with middle school, high school, and early college students who need support in math (especially Algebra and foundational skills), biology, psychology, or writing. I enjoy helping students who need extra clarity, encouragement, or help organizing their thinking.
