"I'm Hannah A. and I'm excited to work with you! I'm a student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) that specializes in tutoring elementary-college math, computer science, and physics. I received an 800 in SAT Math, a 5 in AP Calculus BC and a 5 in AP Computer Science. I also have multiple years of experience working as a freelance tutor and an instructor at Mathnasium, a math tutoring service.

My approach to tutoring is individualized, thoughtful, and practice-oriented. Many of my students fall behind in more challenging classes because they struggle with a few key topics, so building a strong conceptual foundation is a core part of my tutoring method. I consider my work done when a student can confidently and independently solve problems related to topics we covered, explain the how and why of their answers, and use the conceptual toolkit we built to find solutions to problems that they've never seen before.
