"Hi! My name is Kelly, and I'm currently studying Math and Math Education at Boston University, working toward becoming a high school math teacher. I’m a teaching fellow with Teach For America, where I tutor small groups of students in math up through the high school level. I also work as an ESOL tutor, helping adult learners build their English skills.

My approach is patient, flexible, and focused on meeting students where they are. I know from experience that many students lack confidence in math, and I strive to create a low-pressure environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

I specialize in SHSAT prep, Algebra I & II, Calculus I & II (including AP Calculus BC), and Chinese. As a Stuyvesant High School alum who scored 600 on the SHSAT, I’m familiar with the test’s rigor and strategies for success. I’m also a native Mandarin Chinese speaker and earned a score of 5 on both the AP Calculus BC and AP Chinese exams.
