"I hold a Bachelor of Mathematics in Pure Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Waterloo and a Master's in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, where I also served as a teaching assistant.

For 20 years, I volunteered as a math educator at The Hiland Hall School in Vermont, teaching full Algebra I courses using a rigorous Art of Problem Solving curriculum, providing K-8 tutoring and enrichment, and coaching a MATHCOUNTS team to a chapter championship with students advancing to State and National competitions. My teaching approach emphasizes hands-on learning with manipulatives, puzzles, and games, combined with a growth mindset where mistakes are celebrated as learning opportunities.
