"Hello! My name is Labdhi, and I'm currently a 2nd-year medical student. I graduated from Emory University with a double major in Biology and Computer Science, earning a 3.99 GPA and making the Dean’s List for 7 semesters. I also scored a 520 on the MCAT, reflecting both my academic strengths and my commitment to learning.
My passion for education has been a consistent part of my journey. One of my first exposures to teaching was in high school, where I spent four years tutoring peers in various levels of math and writing. At Emory, I worked with K–3 students to build foundational skills in math and English, using fun stories and objects to make abstract ideas stick. I also served as a teaching assistant for a computer science course, where I learned how to break down complex topics and tailor explanations to different learning styles.
In addition to subject-specific tutoring, I’ve helped students prepare for standardized tests, including the ACT and SAT, which I scored 35 and 1570 on, respectively. I guided students through customized study plans, reviewed high-yield concepts, and shared test-taking strategies for both math and reading. Most recently, I’ve worked with middle and high school students in Algebra and Geometry through an online platform, so I’m well-versed in virtual teaching tools and environments.
My specialty lies in K-12 mathematics, standardized tests, and guidance with writing.
I truly enjoy working with students across various age groups and academic levels, and I always strive to tailor my teaching methods to meet each individual’s needs. I’ve seen firsthand how patience and understanding can make a meaningful difference in a student’s confidence—and I’m passionate about helping them feel capable and empowered in their learning.
