"Hi I'm Frank, and first and foremost, I am the father of a teenage son in High School so I can relate as a parent. I graduated with honors from Fordham University in the Bronx in 2005, earning my Bachelor's degree with a major in Communication and Media Studies. My professional background is with web site production, writing, editing, and broadcasting, all largely in the sports world. I have tutored on the side throughout my career, mostly students from ages 5-12, with stellar results. My approach is to not simply "get through" an assignment or test, but to work tirelessly with the student until he/she fully understands how to reason through the problem and why we got to the answer that we did.

I specialize in Math and English but am confident tutoring in all subjects on the elementary and middle school levels. English has been a focal point throughout my career and something at which I've always excelled (ask me about the time I was on "Wheel of Fortune" ... and won!). In high school, I took sophomore and junior level math as a freshman, scored a 680 on math on the SAT, and continue to excel with my pupils using old methods and new. Aside from academics, I love sports as I alluded to, and even wrestling - if your son or daughter is a WWE fan, we can talk all about it (after work time)!
