"When I was a little kid, I couldn't wait to play "school" with my dolls. I would go to my mom's job and make copies and everything. So it was not surprising that I ended up becoming a teacher. I taught all levels of high school Math for 12 years in New York before I found the love of my life and moved to the DMV to be with him. I had so many exciting experiences teaching in Brooklyn, Queens and currently the notorious TC Williams high school. I am friendly, patient, knowledgeable and fun-loving.

I am passionate about Math. There are so many ways to make Math fun and applicable in real life and this is something that I do well. Because of my teaching experience, I have a lot of patience. If a person doesn't get it the first time, I have so many other ways of explaining it, from manipulatives to pictures to demonstrations. I am good at making complicated concepts easy and allowing students to contribute in the learning process.
