"I am a certified high school mathematics teacher with over 17 years of experience teaching in public schools in Texas, primarily in Houston ISD and Aldine ISD. I hold a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and have completed graduate coursework in Applied Mathematics at the University of the Philippines Diliman. Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Science in Mathematics Teaching at Texas A&M University. I am certified to teach secondary mathematics in Texas and have extensive experience with curriculum development, instructional leadership, and student-centered learning.

Throughout my career, I have taught a wide range of math courses including Algebra 1, Geometry, Pre-AP and On-Level Algebra 2, Precalculus, and SAT/ACT Math prep. I have also served as a team lead and instructional coach, helping colleagues improve their classroom practices. My approach to tutoring is grounded in clarity, patience, and positive reinforcement. I believe in breaking complex concepts into digestible parts, using real-world examples, and adapting to the student’s learning style.
