"I am a retired actuary and am currently a full time Math Tutor for Farmington High School. Math has provided me with a very rewarding career and is a life-long passion of mine. I work well with all types of students and enjoy working with young adults.

My tutoring approach is very low-key and supportive. My particular strength is explaining math concepts in ordinary language and removing the mystique and "mumbo-jumbo" often associated with math. I recognize that students learn in many different ways and at various speeds. Students are encouraged to approach math on their own terms, at their own pace, to ask questions, and to demand answers.
