"Hello, I'm Liam. I'm from Canada graduated from UCLA in 2021 with a double major in Mathematics and Philosophy. Afterwards, I taught AP Calculus, Honors Precalculus and other math courses in a public high school in Florida for two years, and I am currently licensed to teach mathematics for grades 6-12 in the state of Florida. I currently teach Advanced Mathematics (set theory, logic, proofs, combinatorics, operations with complex numbers, etc.) and IB Physics in a private high school in Mexico City.

I love tutoring because I think learners thrive in one-on-one environments where tutors can develop a good rapport with them. My approach is highly flexible, and I adapt my tutoring help to the needs of the student. For example, I will typically begin with what is troubling you most, and if in the process of discussing this content, I discover that you have difficulties with underlying topics, I will point widen the scope of the tutoring session so that you improve in those areas as well.
