"Hi, I'm Ari. I'm a former engineer and high school teacher and I tutor in my spare time. I work with students by asking questions and trying to understand how a student approaches problem solving and identifying lines of thinking which may or may not serve their understanding.

I studied physics at UC Santa Cruz for my Bachelor's degree and Electrochemistry at the University of Oregon for my Master's. I've have nearly two decades of tutoring experience and have worked with students of all ages, from elementary school through continuing adult education. I really enjoy helping people understand the fundimentals of math and science and feel confident in their ability to understand and learn these subjects.
