"Hi, I'm Vivan! I have a PhD in Physics from Northeastern University, where I searched for new physics particles at the Large Hadron Collider! I also have Bachelor's degrees in Physics and Music Performance from the University of Florida. Great teachers have made all the difference in my life, so I love to teach. I believe anyone can learn with the right strategy, no matter how difficult the subject. My tutoring approach to any subject begins with framing the problem: Why is this problem important and why are we solving it? I'll walk you step by step to solve the problem and provide examples. There are multiple ways to solve one problem, and I will find the one that works for you!

I have been teaching since 2016. I taught over 350 students across 13 undergraduate physics and lab courses at the University of Virginia and Northeastern University, two top research institutions. I led discussion lectures and office hours, working with students one-on-one. I mainly tutor physics and math. I also tutor middle school and high school level classes such as Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, and Physics. I have an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma, with Higher Level Math and AP Physics and Calculus. I am also a pianist and tutor Music Theory.
