"I discovered my love for teaching while helping my friends in college with subjects we were taking together. I would explain concepts to them they didn't understand and it was very rewarding when their grades improved because of that. I received special math awards in high school and have done very well so far in my Mechanical Engineering major at Virginia Tech. I have also worked as a tutor at the Math Emporium there.

I tutor in high school and college level physics and chemistry, as well as any math subject ranging from elementary school to college calculus and differential equations. I can teach SAT Math and engineering subjects such as statics.

My main goals in tutoring includes helping the student understand each section of the material better, and making them feel more confident in their problem solving. I will assign homework if desired or needed. I am available during the summer any time or day from morning to night, and can provide one-on-one lessons as well as group lessons. My rate may vary based on location.
