"Hello! My name is Nasser, and I’m passionate about helping students build confidence in math. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and my Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science. I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering, where I use math every day in advanced engineering coursework and research. My academic background gives me a strong foundation to explain math concepts clearly and apply them to real-world problem solving.

Throughout college, I tutored students both privately and in structured academic settings. I worked as a Teaching Assistant for several math and computer science courses, helping students during office hours, grading assignments, and leading study sessions. This experience has allowed me to work with a wide range of learners being able to pick up on different teaching approaches for different students, as there is no one method suits all. I pride myself in being able to break down challenging problems and adapt to the students needs to ensure they truly understand and are learning.

My tutoring approach is patient, encouraging, and focused on understanding. I take time to break down complex topics into clear, manageable steps, while always explaining the “why” behind the solution. Rather than just giving a solution and moving forward my priority is to make sure you can understand the problem to a point where you could teach it to a fellow peer.
