"Hey, I’m Adi! I graduated from the #1 ranked public school in the United States and am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Drexel University. During high school, I spent about two years working at Kumon, primarily as a math tutor. I taught everything from basic arithmetic to calculus. I worked with students one-on-one when they required special attention, but also worked in small groups of 2-5 students.

Through both tutoring and being tutored myself, I came to realize that the real value you can get from a good tutor isn’t about getting right answer — it’s in understanding how to get there. Anyone, and now AI as well, can show you the steps to solve a problem, but true learning happens when you start thinking critically and logically about why those steps work. In my teaching, I focus less on simply pointing out what’s wrong and more on uncovering why it’s wrong, how the student is thinking about the concepts, allowing them to bridge gaps in fundamental understanding and build real confidence in applying concepts.
