I hold an M.S. in Bioinformatics from the University of Oregon and a B.S. in Molecular Biology from Haverford College. I have worked as a computational biologist for 9 years in both academic and industry roles, and I have engaged in teaching and mentorship throughout my career. I mentor high-school and undergraduate students in data analysis skills as part of programs like "Coding for Cancer" at the Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center, and I have experience grading for courses in Calculus I and Introductory Computer Science (Python-based).
