"I'm Neha! I'm in my final year of college at Rutgers Business School with a major in Finance and a concentration in Global Business. My interest in tutoring began in high school, when I spent over a year teaching reading and writing to students from underprivileged communities through the nonprofit platform Learn To Be. Working one-on-one with younger students showed me how impactful patient, consistent support can be, especially for building confidence in literacy skills. That experience inspired me to continue tutoring and solidified my desire to work with younger learners in a supportive and encouraging way.

Since then, I have continued developing my teaching skills through both tutoring and mentoring roles. In college, I served as a peer mentor in the School of Arts and Sciences honors program, where I supported fellow students academically and helped them develop effective study habits and organizational skills. These experiences strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and create a positive learning environment tailored to each student’s needs.

Looking ahead, I am excited to continue offering my tutoring services to support elementary and middle school students in math, reading, and writing.
