"I have a relaxed atmosphere when I tutor and I am very good at relieving stress and diminishing frustration. I expect students to do the work themselves but I give lots of help and have had many students who enjoy my style of tutoring. I use humor to make learning a difficult subject not so bad for the student. I have had several students who had not had success with previous tutors, who preferred me. I try to make learning fun.

Math was difficult for me, so I have plenty of empathy and I know what students are going through. I can make students who think they hate math start to like it."
