"Hi my name is Wynneth. I have been tutoring a variety of subjects since 2012, including ACT/SAT test prep, chemistry and math up through Calculus.

I started tutoring by helping my peers in my college classes. Towards the end of my undergraduate career, I worked as a math and chemistry tutor for SSSP, a support program for underrepresented students at my alma mater, UCSD. From this experience, I found a passion in tutoring.

After college, I worked as tutor for a private company for 5+ years. I worked one-on-one with many high school students who needed help with homework, preparing for exams and ACT/SAT tests. I am great at explaining concepts clearly and in various ways for students to comprehend. I am a kind, patient and engaging tutor who connects well with my students. I always prioritize my students' success and will continue to work with and encourage my students until they reach their goal.

I specialize in teaching high school math and ACT/SAT math. With 8+ years of tutoring experience, I have developed strategies and tools for students to apply when completing a math homework, preparing for math exams and ACT/SAT math tests. I have also tutored common core math, so I know the various ways a math concept can be taught and learned.

I studied chemistry in college and have years of experience tutoring chemistry and science. I tutor chemistry in a way that is engaging and relatable to students.
