"I hold a degree in Geology and have worked professionally as an exploration geologist, applying math, science, and problem-solving in real-world contexts. My academic training included extensive coursework in earth science, chemistry, physics, and mathematics, all of which directly support my ability to teach STEM fundamentals.

I have experience tutoring and mentoring students in science and math at the middle school level and below, both in one-on-one settings and in small group environments. My approach emphasizes hands-on, practical examples — such as using everyday objects, natural materials, or real-world problems — to make abstract concepts easier to understand.

In addition to science, I have tutored younger students in mathematics fundamentals (fractions, decimals, pre-algebra) and in basic STEM skills. I focus on building confidence through step-by-step explanations, interactive questioning, and connecting material to students’ own interests.
