"My passion for teaching is rooted in a family background of educators and a lifelong interest in problem-solving. I find it incredibly rewarding to help students work through challenges and experience those breakthrough moments when a concept finally clicks.

From August 2013 to June 2015, I worked at Mathnasium of Arlington, contributing to its rapid expansion. Later, from September 2019 to February 2022, I taught at C2 Education, specializing in math across a range of levels as well as SAT preparation. I particularly enjoyed helping students connect mathematical concepts to real-world applications.

In 2017, I participated in the NASA DEVELOP program, where I collaborated with scientists at NASA Langley and NASA Goddard on interdisciplinary projects. This experience sharpened my analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, which I continue to apply in my teaching today.

Since 2023, I have been a managing instructor at Principia Tutors in McLean, VA, supporting students and fellow instructors in math, science, and standardized test preparation.

Whenever possible, I prefer to communicate with both students and parents before beginning lessons. Understanding a student’s current academic level and goals allows me to tailor my instruction more effectively from the very first session.

Because course titles and content can vary by school, it’s helpful to know the specific topic(s) you're currently studying so I can prepare accordingly.
