"In the past 10 years, I have done hundreds of hours of tutoring with students ranging from middle school to college level. Math has always been my favorite subject and, fittingly, I have gotten to tutor many students in a wide variety of math courses, from basic multiplication and long division, up through calculus. During my graduate program, I also got to tutor students taking engineering courses. Since finishing my Ph.D., I have continued to tutor students in math and science in my free time.

In all of my tutoring experiences, the most rewarding part was always seeing the moment when a concept clicks inside a student's brain. I love to see the sense of accomplishment they feel once they've finally mastered the problem or the concept that they had been struggling with. I often considered becoming a teacher during my time in academia but decided to go down the more industrial route of becoming an engineer. However, I've realized that there's no reason I can't do a little bit of both, and that's the reason I'm here today. I hope I can use what I've learned to help you too.
