"Hi! I’m currently in graduate school studying Applied Mathematics. Before this, I completed my bachelor’s in Biology with a minor in Applied Mathematics. My foundation in Algebra, Precalculus, and Calculus was built through my coursework and strengthened by years of tutoring. I’ve been tutoring math since 2021, working with students from Algebra 1 through Calculus. I also currently teach Algebra for Calculus.

Over the years, I’ve learned that not everyone learns at the same pace, so my tutoring style is flexible and student-centered. I take time to understand each student’s strengths and learning gaps, then adjust my explanations to match how they think. I like using step-by-step breakdowns, visuals, and the occasional funny analogy to make ideas clearer and less intimidating.

Most of the students I’ve worked with are high school and early college students, especially those preparing for exams or needing support with foundational algebra. I’m passionate about helping students not just pass their classes, but truly understand math and feel more confident with it. I try to create a space where questions are always welcome, and progress is something we celebrate together.
