"I am a Certified Math Teacher teaching middle and high school students. Specializing in grades 5-9. I Tutor students privately(One-on-One) and at Mathnasium(a math tutoring learning center).

I have been working with children for 15 years and know that students need to feel comfortable and even have fun while they are learning a new concept as well as receive consistency, optimism and compassion from their mentors. I create an atmosphere that provides just that and so therefore students are comfortable and open to making mistakes and learning from them. My students and I have a lot of "Ah - HA" or "OH I get it now" moments which builds their confidence more than ever! They are not afraid to venture into something new or review something they have previously learned. After all, Isn't that what learning is all about?

I work closely with the student AND the family so I am very approachable and reachable anytime! I give homework where I see it is needed as well as work with students on a long term basis.
