"Hello! My name is Catherine, I will be a junior at Purdue University Honors College. I study Actuarial Science and Applied Statistics, and minor in Dance and Management. I have passed multiple Society of Actuaries (SOA) Exams and am on the Dean's List.

My tutoring experience includes 1-1 private sessions in K-12 math, English Teaching for Non English Speakers, volunteer work in literacy development for underprivileged children, and volunteer group sessions for elementary math.

I have tutored for 5 years with a focus in early math education. I believe a strong foundation in math is extremely important so I make it my mission to supplement my students in their learning. I build that foundation for my students by diligently working on basics so that they can develop lifelong confidence in their skills.

I am able to tutor elementary and middle school math. I can do homework help sessions or simply drill basics (ex: math facts, pattern recognition...). I am flexible to work on what the student and parents need.
