My name is Jody and I obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree in Math/Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Champaign - Urbana. I have tutored over 60 students in Elementary and Middle School Math, and also worked as a Microsoft Certified Trainer in the business world and as a software trainer and programmer. I really enjoy helping students work to solve homework problems and to increase their confidence levels. My specialties are Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, 3rd - 6th grade homework help, Cogat , STARR , FAST, and MAP standardized testing. My tutoring sessions are focused on helping students with their homework, preparing for tests and quizzes, and working on skills using ixl.com. I am certified by wyzant in ixl.

The following are my hourly rates depending on the type of tutoring desired:

Weekly Homework Help and test prep for school $40 hourly

Standardized testing $50 hourly and additional hourly rate for work done outside of session if needed

Skill building for current grade level and above with Ixl $40 hourly

Assessments, identifying and filling in learning gaps, and IEP students $100 hourly
