"Hi, my name is Tom! I have a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Stony Brook University. I tutored for 4 years at Suffolk County Community College, helping students at the school's Math Learning Center as well as offering one on one tutoring sessions. I have extensive experience in helping students with Calculus and Statistics, but my tutoring experience has touched on any and all math related subjects.

If you are looking for help with college math courses, the SAT, the GRE, or AP mathematics courses, I can definitely be of assistance. After over a decade of being immersed in mathematics whether in my education, tutoring, or my professional career working as a billing analyst, my knowledge and experience is deep and varied.

But more importantly, I have a passion for helping students learn mathematics. Math can often be a source of trepidation and anxiety in students and my goal is to help them grow confidence in their own abilities to understand it and solve problems.
