"I hold a Master's degree in Mathematics from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics in Finance from the New York City College of Technology. My background gives me a strong foundation in many area of mathematics, from fundamentals to advanced topics.

My tutoring experience spans a wide range of learners, from elementary school students to college students tackling higher-level coursework. I have taught both in-person and virtually, but prefer the latter. For virtual lessons I use a tablet that allows me and the student to write and solve problems together in real time, mimicking the approach of learning side-by-side at a physical desk.

My approach is to build understanding from the ground up. Rather than memorize formulas, I focus on helping my students grasp underlying ideas that connect topics. I pay close attention to identifying specific points where a student struggles, and tailor my lessons to address those weaknesses directly.
