"My teaching experience consists of six years of teaching in both private and public schools. Currently, I am a retired certified math teacher, state of Florida, for grades 7-12. Tutoring over 900 hours on Wyzant's platform and working with my own children adds to my versatile experience. Last teaching position I held was teaching Algebra 2 in Brevard County, Florida. Tutoring students who scored a 5 on the Algebra I EOC exam provides an expertise in this area. Online coursework experience with students enrolled in Florida Virtual School courses provides a foundation for working with common core ,modeling mathematics, and online coursework.
