"I fell in love with math through my love of physics and I've always seen math as a way to seeing the beauty in the world. While I am an accomplished mathematician and scientist, my passion lies in teaching. I have taught at the University of Maryland for the past 3 years and I will be teaching high school math starting in the fall. I have taught courses that include, algebra, pre-calculus, probability, and calculus while I've tutored in almost every math course offered. I've also tutored algebra and calculus-based physics.

My favorite part of teaching is helping struggling students succeed in a subject they thought they had no business learning. It is a pleasure to be a part of their learning process. I'm a patient and compassionate teacher, and I believe it is important to tailor my lesson to the background and interests of my students. I like to find ways to make the subject relevant to you and your life. If the way I am teaching the lesson isn't working for you, I will find new ways to explore the topic.
