"Hey there! I'm Thomas. I am an electrical engineer designing avionics (flight electronics) for unmanned aerial systems at a defense company. Starting my engineering journey at Palomar College, I completed lower-division courses there in calculus I-III, linear algebra, electrical circuit design, C programming, and physics. After transferring to San Diego State University, I focused on circuit design, radio circuits, antennas, and digital electronics to complete my B.S. degree in electrical engineering. Thanks to my amazing professors and supportive family, I was able to achieve a 3.97 GPA and earn the 2022 Outstanding Graduate Award in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Following this, I worked in a series of defense companies doing electrical design, now working on drones!

Along with my studies throughout college, I was fortunate enough to be able to gain about a year of tutoring experience. During my last semester at Palomar College before transferring to SDSU, I was able to tutor Calculus I and II, as well as physics I (mechanics) and physics II (electromagnetism) at their STEM Center. During my last semester at SDSU, I was able to lead 5 problem solving class sessions with over 100 students spread across each in the Circuit Analysis II course. It was honestly one of my favorite parts of SDSU.
