"Hello! My name is Taimur K. and I am currently a 4th year medical student at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV. Despite being a medical student, my first passion and area of expertise is actually mathematics! I competed in a number of math competitions throughout middle and high school, including Mathcounts, Harvard-MIT, ARML, AMC-10, AMC-12, and AIME. I attended summer camps for 3 years and eventually taught the AMC-10 class in my 4th year. I have received a perfect score of 800 on the math portion of the SAT and I double majored in biology and mathematics in my undergraduate university. I have many years of tutoring experience, including both private one-on-one sessions and groups / classes ranging up to 40 students. I have tutored all ages, from as young as 6 years old to as old as 50. Many of my students have gone on to achieve perfect scores on their standardized tests and excel in math competitions, reaching USAMO or higher.
