"Hi! I'm Matt. I've been a nurse for ten years now with experience in neurology, neurology, and trauma ICU settings. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013 and my Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Healthcare Leadership in 2023. I'm currently studying for my Adult/Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner board exam.

I've been teaching in an undergraduate nursing program for the last four years and have found that being able to adapt the way I teach to a particular students learning style can really help them succeed. For this reason, I try to include all sorts teaching and learning strategies into the way I deliver information - whether that's by drawing pictures (although, an artist I am not), sharing clinical experiences, watching film, or listening to audio content.
