"I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin, followed by a Master’s degree in Education with a focus on Educational Leadership. This combination has given me both strong mathematical content knowledge and a deep understanding of effective instructional practices and student development.

I have over 16 years of experience teaching mathematics, during which I have worked to make math accessible, engaging, and meaningful for students. My instructional approach emphasizes building strong foundational understanding, breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, and encouraging students to explain their thinking. I focus on identifying individual learning gaps, reinforcing confidence, and helping students develop problem-solving skills they can transfer across topics.
