"Hi my name is Ian! I I worked in both accounting and human resources for a fortune 500 company, as well as consulting in various industries. I wasn't personally fulfilled after staring line by line at 1000 line spreadsheets, so I decide to search for my passion. I then thought back to my college days where I tutored student-athletes part-time. While tutoring in college I did mainly 1-on-1 tutoring for about 20 hours per week for 2 years. On occasion, I would have groups and handle up to 8-on-1. I tutored college students in everything from math (skipping straight to calculus in college) to financial accounting (B) to everything in between, all the way through MBA-level courses. In order to tutor each of the over a dozen courses I had taken, I was required to get over a B average in the course. I enjoyed watching my students succeed and was beyond flattered to be recommended to other athletes on campus.

Fun Fact: I have tutored olympians, national champions, and athletes from over 15 different sports!

I realized that helping others to achieve made me happier than achieving by myself. I feel comfortable tutoring a variety of subjects as I have done them before and am certified to teach them. My class I teach in high school stresses both computer as well as financial literacy, and as a result sets up students to succeed.
