"I am a fourth-year medical student at Georgetown University School of Medicine with a strong academic foundation in math, physics, chemistry, and the life sciences. I earned a B.S. in Biochemistry and have consistently worked in analytically rigorous subjects that require structured reasoning and problem-solving. During my undergraduate years, I tutored Calculus II and Calculus III, helping students develop a deeper conceptual understanding rather than relying on memorization. I have also tutored physics and worked as a homeschool chemistry teacher, where I taught chemistry from the ground up, tailoring explanations, pacing, and problem sets to fit the student’s learning style.
In medical school, teaching has remained a central part of my training. I regularly work with material in physiology, anatomy, and organ systems such as cardiology, gastroenterology, renal, pulmonary, neurologic, and endocrine physiology, and I mentor students navigating challenging coursework and exams. These experiences have strengthened my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently, whether I am teaching algebra, calculus, general chemistry, physics, or advanced life sciences. I am especially skilled at helping students connect foundational concepts to problem-solving strategies that translate well to exams.
My teaching style is calm, structured, and intentional. I focus on building intuition first, then reinforcing it through step-by-step problem solving and exam-oriented thinking. I ask students to share specific topics a few days in advance so sessions are efficient and targeted. I work best with high school, college, pre-med, and homeschool students who want to truly understand math and science, build confidence, and become more independent learners." less...
